HEY!!! I HAVE a minx, and I think there wonderful creatures. What about small dogs that are breed to be so tiny? Besides, the minx has longer legs, so it makes up for the loss of the tail. It's not a genetic mutation, the bobtail has a short tail because it doesn't NEED a long tail! There are different kinds of animals, there's nothing wrong with minx. Again, they naturally have small tails because they don't need long tails. Don't go ripping off a breed, it's racist!?

I have a tailless minx as well. She has long to median fur(but it sticks to her body) that's a tan/ golden orange color. She has spotted brown on top of that, making her really beautiful. She's small because we found her without her mother when she was a few weeks old. She also has a white chest, underbelly, and white paws. Her name is sunset, and her fur is actually faded? a bit even though she'd not old at all! To be actually honest, I have a hard time describing her. She's also tiny

The American Bobtail came about in the 60's by cross breeding the tabby cat with a Bobcat, hence the short tail. NO CRUELTY. By your moron logic, you'd say that it was? cruel to cross breed an Asian Leopard Cat with a domestic cat. The result being the very beautiful & loving Bengal cat species.
